I call this an Up-to-Date review because so many of the comments already posted complain about features of the magic mouse that have already been fixed with some amazing third-party software (freeware). Let me elaborate!

First, many of the reviews say that you have only two mouse buttons; right and left. They say that you cannot middle click. Not so anymore! Using Magicprefs (freeware, third-party software), you can setup a middle click that works flawlessly. As a Firefox user myself, I am always middle clicking. Using Magicprefs, I can middle click to my heart's content.

Next, people have complained that it lacks all the additional buttons that many other mice have. Fortunately, Magicprefs let's you setup different click combinations that will do different things. For example, I have setup a "three finger click" to bring up Spaces and allow me to quickly switch between desktop. Further, a single-finger tap on the Apple logo brings up Expose. Then there are all the swipes that I can do as well.

Now, one real limitation of the mouse is this: you cannot press the right and left mouse key together. Essentially there is still one mouse button; the software just senses where you press on the mouse to determine a left or right click. I realize this is needed in many video games, so be aware that this will cause frustration and you will need to develop a work-around (or have a gaming mouse, like I do).

In sum, for day-to-day computer use, this is the best mouse I have ever owned. This mouse is still relatively new and I am encouraged by the software that is already coming out that will help us maximize our experience with the Magic Mouse. I think this mouse is just going to get better and better with time.
