I love apple. From their customer service, to their computers and other products (phones, software, os x, etc.) they had always provided top quality.

I just don't understand what happened here. Particularly when Apple was the innovator of providing a mouse for "computers for regular people." Not to become too historic, but its was a concept stolen from Xerox, that is known as their main innovation.

Why mention this? Because, I would think that they would know better about engineering a mouse better than Logitech or Microsoft for that matter, and they don't.

After buying this mouse, and using it for an hour, it just started to hurt my hand. The buttons are not clearly defined (left/right), you almost have to feel hard to get a right click straight. The top of the mouse looks like it depends on the uneven force that you give it. This is something different, but not particularly good for me. The top wheel/ball is susceptible to dirt, and as I read reviews lead to stop working.

Perhaps I got used to good ergonomics in mice, because this one did not feel comfortable.

Also, the basic optical logitech, that you can get at any STAPLES for about $15 to $19 has more functions, is more comfortable and I believe that its 1000 dpi tacking is above this possible 800 dpi at best.

But, don't take my word for it; read other reviews, or better yet, buy it from apple, but don't throw away any of the packaging. This way you can return it like I did, if you reach the same conclusions.

My advise, go for a good Logitech or Microsoft. They seemed to know how to build a good mouse. Unfortunately, this one may look good, but it just doesn't feel right, or work right, or is priced right. . .
