I had this mouse for a while a few years ago. Perhaps it has been redesigned since then, but at the time, I felt that the weight of the mouse was heavy, due to the batteries you have to stuff in there. It required extra effort to push it around my mouse pad. I didn't notice it as first, but after a few days, my hand felt fatigued. Also, sometimes it got knocked off the desktop and when it fell, it fell hard because of the weight. After a while it didn't work anymore and I was more than happy to go out and get a mouse that wasn't filled with batteries. Now I have the (overpriced) Mighty Mouse that has a cord, and it works fine, but the cord is about a foot too short for the giant G5 tower that I have. At those prices, why can't they get it right?Digital camera Review: I hate this mouse.

I loved it, 3 replacements ago. User submitted photos show why the scroll ball stops working, and they're right - there is no amount of cleaning that will remove the problem. This mouse should be #1 for so many reasons, but the fact that the scroll ball WILL stop working (your mileage may vary) and will require a replacement puts this amazing and horrible piece of hardware #1 of the trash heap. I am auditioning replacements because this is just stupid.Digital camera Review: I love it! Get one!

I was given this as a gift last spring. I love it. It feels good in the hand and the fact that it's bluetooth is wonderful. The tiny ball is good for scrolling down. I had a wireless mouse with my PC but I had to plug something into the USB port. This is the mouse, and that's it. It takes a few seconds to link up with my Mac, but that is fine. I work in Iraq and have had the mighty mouse for over a month with no issues at all. I have already been through a couple of dust storms and it is still going strong! To those of you who are still debating about purchasing the Mighty Mouse, consider the new Magic Mouse from Apple-No ball. Either way, you can't loose.
I'm very pleased with my purchase and recommend this mouse to everyone.
