Digital camera reviews of Apple Mighty Mouse Wireless Kit

Digital camera Review: Buy another bluetooth mouse for your mac
Summary: 1 Stars

I'm not satisfied and completely disappointed. I don't recommend Apple Mighty Mouse to any user. I bought another mouse for my MacBook and Mac Mini. Instead of this mouse I recommend Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks - White

Pros
- Apple logo and design

Cons
- Not so ergonomic
- Frequently the scrolling ball doesn't work properly. Especially in upper direction.
- Expensive
- Low battey life

Digital camera Review: By far the ugliest modern Apple product
Summary: 1 Stars

I bought this expecting something as slim as the wonderful wired version, but no, do not let the pictures fool you - This mouse is over an inch thick. Coming from Apple, I expected a simplistic, polished mouse, but it seems more like a cheap chinese knockoff of the mighty mouse. By far, the wireless mighty mouse is the ugliest modern Apple product.

Digital camera Review: Cool Looking but Clumsy
Summary: 2 Stars

Good: The trackball - this is the best feature of the mouse. Cool looking when it's just sitting there next to your computer - people will comment how nice it looks, if that's important to you.

Bad: Very clumsy to handle. In the interest of full disclosure, I am a long time Windows/PC/two-button mouse guy, recently bought an iMac. This mouse is advertised as "touch sensitive", giving you two-button features in a minimalist one-button form factor. However, the actual experience using the right click on this thing is frustrating. It is not quick and easy like an actual two-button mouse. Also, I find the tracking of the mouse somewhat slow to respond and imprecise. When I try to select video clips in iMovie, or do picture editing in iPhoto, it is often difficult to aim and shoot the way I want to. I am considering a replacement because of this. Even the long time Mac addicts I know who use Macs professionally don't like this mouse mainly for this reason.

Digital camera Review: DON'T DO IT!!!!
Summary: 1 Stars

WOW! Amazing that apple allowed this to happen. I didn't listen to the reviews in reference to the bad scroll ball. It is really bad. Many state that it breaks after using it for a while, but mine didn't funtion properly out the box. Sure you can put alcohol on a q-tip and try to fix the problem, but why this shouldn't happen and apple needs to fix this problem. I hope they do they are great in practically everything else.

Digital camera Review: Decent Mouse but way too Expensive.
Summary: 4 Stars

The mouse is pretty good, and I've had no problems with it so far. I got it just for fun, as I normally use a Logitech VX Revolution with my Macbook Pro. The Wireless MM responds very well, and because it is laser, works on a variety of surfaces including my leg and the carpet. One thing that's a bit annoying is the squeeze buttons - they aren't very practical. Although I use it for showing off, you normally wouldn't use it because it requires you to reposition your hand in order to use it. Coming from the VX Revo., I'd like to see a back/forward button, but I guess that would detract from the simplicity of this mouse. The mouse can operate on a single AA battery, to lighten the load when traveling, although I don't think this makes a big difference. I've had it for about a month now and have not had a problem with the scroll ball getting dirty.
