Digital camera reviews of Apple Nike+ Sport Armband for iPod nano 1G, 2G

Digital camera Review: A Real Pain to Use
Summary: 1 Stars

Nothing against the seller, but the item sucks. I have to take my pod out of the armstrap all the time to see the screen. It a real piece of junk. I could cut a hold in the armband, but that would probably look tacky!

Digital camera Review: A little imcorfortable to use with IPOD Nano
Summary: 2 Stars

It lacks a screen where you can see the Ipod screen when starting your workout. You should set it up prior to put your Nano into it. On the other hand, it keeps very well the sweat outside.

Digital camera Review: Aggravating to jog with
Summary: 1 Stars

As a sports wristband presumably designed specifically for jogging with the Nike+iPod setup, this thing is really brain-dead. Not seeing the screen WHILE running is not the issue. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten everything together, walked out the door, pushed play as I started into my workout, then realized that I need to change something (like shuffling the music, or choosing a different workout mix) and have to STOP EVERYTHING, take the whole thing OFF my arm, etc. just to change things. Same thing coming back -- to stop your workout, you have to remember which buttons to press (is it middle button, then menu?) since you can't see anything. What if you just want to pause?? You end up unplugging the headphones and taking everything apart just to stop your workout, and you don't get to hear the little congratulatory voice telling you what a great workout you just had -- that little motiviational voice is a big part of what you're paying for (for me, at least)!

Save your money and buy one of the many non-retardedly-designed bands available.

Digital camera Review: Cheaper than ever...and functional...a good buy!
Summary: 5 Stars

Okay, first off: NO, this armband has no window.

Now, I knew that when I bought it for 29 bucks and guess what, I have no complaints. I have gotten great use out of it and not having the window...never affected me or my use of the armband in any way.

When I run with Nike+ and I want to know my current run stats, all I do is press the center button. The pre-recorded, yet ever so sultry, voice comes through my earphones and tells me:

"Thirty-six minutes. Four miles completed. Current pace, nine minutes, five seconds. Fifteen minutes remaining."

I don't need to look at the screen...I can keep my focus on the road. And well, I know what songs I put on my playlist so there is no chance of me going, "OMG, what is that song?!"

Also, the armband fits perfectly. Now, I don't think it will fit Mr. Universe's bicep, but it does work to fit a wide variety of arms. Unless your arm is, in comparison to 'other' arms, unusually thing or enormous, I can confidently say that it will fit you.

I give this 5 stars for its functionality and comfort. It also looks kinda cool. I paid the original price (30 dollars) and I am not in any way disappointed with it. I'm actually glad it has no window! I don't wanna trip or misjudge a curb and roll an ankle because I wanted to 'look' at my run stats ;-).

Digital camera Review: Disappointing Nike Product
Summary: 2 Stars

You would think a company like Nike would create a top notch product, especially working with a company like Apple. This is an inferior product just as all the other reviewers say.

You can't see the screen while you're exercising. You can't change the volume in case a song comes on too loud or too soft.

The only positive thing I can say about this product is that it fits well.

There are much better options to consider.
