Digital camera reviews of Apple Nike+ Sport Armband for iPod nano 1G, 2GDigital camera Review: Says what it does and does it Summary: 5 Stars
I saw the other reviews and don't understand. It firmly holds the ipod & I can hear my music anywhere I go. Anything more required, I could stay home and listen to my music on my $$ stereo equiptment.
Digital camera Review: Seriously, this could be a lot better Summary: 2 Stars
Why would Apple and Nike make an armband where you cannot see the screen? I wonder if that's intentional, however I think that the Nike+ software has an on-screen display while you are running. Also, if I need to re-calibrate or change any settings, I have to take the iPod out of the pouch and try to jam it back in the sweaty armband.
Also, the sensor is inaccurate with my Garmin Forerunner 305 GPS watch. I will try to re-calibrate.
Digital camera Review: So so Summary: 3 Stars
I don't like that the old style (the one I happened to buy) would not allow you to adjust volume and see the screen. I cut holes in the armband to accomodate that ... Not what I expected from Nike - great technology, lack of design.
Digital camera Review: Terrible don't buy it Summary: 1 Stars
Don't waste your money. You cannot see the screen it doesn't line up well with the outside cover so you can use your dial. It shifts and turns the volume up to full blast.
Digital camera Review: This is a bad product. Summary: 1 Stars
I have two main problems with this product. First, the pouch completely covers up the screen so that you can't see what's on your iPod's display. This effectively turns the device into an iPod Shuffle. This may or may not be a big deal for you since many runners are focusing on the run too much to fiddle with music anyway.
The second (and biggest) complaint that I have is that the velcro strap is really hard to fasten. Usually on things like this, the armband will have a metal piece where you run one flap through the other side, then pull it tight and velcro. This version just has the velcro pieces on either side. Unless you arm is teeny-tiny, it's really hard to fasten this armband because you can't pull the two sides together easily.
I'm sure that Nike will eventually fix the problems with this, but until then I would pass on this disappointing product.
