Well, if you have an iPod and think this might be useful, read the one star reviews. The associate at the Apple Store recommended the item after I described what I wanted. Since the box has no information on it and does not indicate the menu button does not work with the iPod, I relied on the stores advice and was amazingly disappointed. So, on to the review. The item really doesn't do much. It is mainly a volume button or an up and down channel button. Much like cutting edge 1960's tech. Since the 1960's was pre-Apple, I expected more for $50 (came with the dock).Heck, I would have expected more regardless of price.
