This is an amazingly small keyboard; I've seen lots of pictures online and knows that it is smaller than many keyboards out there, but it isn't until the unit is in my hands that I realized how tiny it is. It's not the most comfortable keyboard in the world, so don't think about writing a 300 page book using this keyboard. However, it is perfect for what I'm using it for--remote for the Mac Mini media center in my living room. The distance is great; I've tested it up to 30 ft (direct line of sight)with no issues. This is a fantastic keyboard! I unfortunately spilled coffee on my old keyboard and Amazon delivered this little gem the next day. That is really impressive for someone who lives at the edge of the wilderness. This keyboard is SMALL. It takes up less room on the desk and does everything I want it to do. Apple's wireless keyboard continues the tradition of edgy, clean, functional design we've come to expect from Apple. The compact footprint of this keyboard takes a little getting used to, but then you come to appreciate the liberated desk space. The keyboard action is decisive, the slope is comfortable for typing, and the bluetooth connection with my PowerBook G4 flawless. The finish coordinates nicely with similiar products.
