Digital camera reviews of Apple iBook G3 500Mhz 128MB 10Gb CDROM 12.1'' OS X OFFICE 2004 Plus Upgraded Models AvailableDigital camera Review: A little disappointing Summary: 1 Stars
I will admit that the shipping was prompt and the computer was packed very nicely.
However, the mouse was broken (wouldn't react to anything whether I clicked it or moved my finger along the touch pad) and the laptop itself was covered with grime.
I hate leaving bad reviews, and maybe it was a one time thing, but really consider all the options you have before you buy from them. The product won't always be as it's described.
Good luck everyone.
Digital camera Review: A question about this iBook Summary: 5 Stars
My questions is can I use my wireless broad band on this computer? I am just mainly looking for something to surf internet with while sitting on my porch or to take it with me on vacation so I am not lugging around my big laptop.

Not a Mac user, still having problems trying to figure out how to play my son's games on it (he's 4, so they're not hard games). Guess I'll have to find an instruction guide online somewhere, but otherwise it seems to be ok. Dinged up a bit, but it was bought for a 4-year old...
Digital camera Review: Apple iBook G3 500Mhz 128MB 10Gb CDROM 12.1'' OS X OFFICE 2004 Summary: 3 Stars
This item, Apple iBook G3 500Mhz 128MB 10Gb CDROM 12.1'' OS X OFFICE 2004 Plus Upgraded Models Available, was late in arriving and it did NOT have an internal modem. This should have been stated.
Digital camera Review: Apples are 5-star computers! Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased an iBook for college, being an Apple user since 2006. I've tried PCs on the side, but programming on a Mac is top-notch and really professional with XCode. This isn't even mentioning usage and speed! My new iBook runs like a charm! I can run Windows(R) XP (in an emulator, of course), Safari, iTunes, and several other apps at the same time, with plenty of speed left. Try that on a PC!
I think this notebook is really the Apple version of a netbook--only WITH a CD drive. It's still about as small and light even with the CD drive.
Plus, it came with all the aethestics looking great, as well as the hardware. It's about 7 to 8/10 cheaper than a MacBook as well, so if you don't want to buy a MacBook, then get an iBook!
However, new PC users need to check out Mac Help from the Help menu, then click "New to OS X?" and then click "Windows switchers" to get started. The trackpad tends to be more sensitive on here, so make sure your hands are clean before use. Just to let you know.
Finally, if you like gaming or need a big screen, the iBook is not what you'd be looking at--in that case, look more at a MacBook Pro. But if you want a computer that 'just works', get an iBook.
