Digital camera reviews of Apple iPod 20 GB White M9282LL/A (4th Generation) OLD MODELDigital camera Review: 20 GB iPod Summary: 4 Stars
The iPod is an expensive electronic that has many positive and negative features. Firstly, in the positive aspect, it has a large capacity of songs it is easy to use and is not half as difficult to lug around as a CD player. After I purchased this item I found myself listening to more music and at more places, not because I intensly got into music per say, but its size makes it easy to carry around. The rest of its positive aspects are similar to other mp3 players by say Sony or Creative. The negative part of the ipod in the physical part is that the chrome back is easily scratched. Before even thinking of using this mp3 player, you should get some type of protection for it so that the back doesn't get scratched. Another bad part is that the 20 GB is actually 18.5 GB, it doesn't make a huge difference to me, but when my iPod is full I'm sure that I won't be too happy. The head-phones are another negative part of this item (if you are concerned about your hearing). Like other mp3 players, Apple provides quite frankly a piece of crap headphone. In a recent study it showed that the headphones don't block out the sounds from the outside world, therefore the user turns up the volume and hurts your ears more. Not Cool. Get another pair of headphones before you use these as well. The iPod also has a battery problem. The only way you can charge this thing is if you hook it up to an electrical outlet and let it charge. Charging takes roughly half as long as you listened. So say if you listened for four hours, it'll take about two or more hours to completely recharge. It'd be a lot better if you could insert 4 AA batteries, but then again the size would increase. Also, this thing has to convert wma files. I don't know about you, but the most common files I download are either mp3(s), wma(s), or wav(s). This thing can't even handle wma(s)! You have to convert them first. Finally, this iPod is a little overhyped and therefore it is way overpriced. Yes it is quality item, yes it is probably one of the easiest to use, but indeed it shows this through its ridiculous price. The Creative 60 GB (three times more than the 20 GB) is less than a hundred dollars more. I don't have one, but I've heard it is overall a very good player besides some designing problems. This mp3 player is very good quality don't get me wrong, however some other mp3 players with a little less quality go for a little less than this does.

Digital camera Review: 20 GB iPod = 24 Hours of Love Summary: 5 Stars
This gadget is a lifesaver. I use it at work, bike riding, and at home. It's like having access to the coolest radio station, 24 hours a day, because it's all my songs. Works great, however the box says it has a 12 hour battery life, and it's really about 10 hours. Still worth a purchase. From downloads to making custom playlists, you deserve one.
Digital camera Review: 20 Gig Just Right!! Summary: 5 Stars
The Apple iPod is a great little invention. I love the click wheel and the backlight is perfect. 20 GB of space is HUGE, capable of holding some 10,000 songs, and iTunes is relatively simple to use. However, I don't recomend buying and iTunes, because you can just download music and get music off CD's. Besides, who would pay a $1 for ONE song?!?
I already have some 2,000 songs on my iPod and have only owned it for 5 days.
It's great!
Buy one...or a mini.
Digital camera Review: 20 gig Ipod Summary: 5 Stars
Unbelievable number of CDs stored on this system. I have my entire collection and still have about 14 gigs to go. Setup was easy although I had a few problems transferring from Itunes to the Ipod at first. Couldn't find the proper plug on my PC-- maybe easier if you have an Apple system. Now works great and the Ipod itself is easy to use-- somewhat intuitive. Plan on using the device on upcoming trip to Italy-- hope it relieves some travel boredom.
