Digital camera Review: "Output Device Not Supported"

After following all the instrucitos I could find, including what other reviews have submitted, I cannot get this item to work.
I WAS able to get the sound to come through my television (I tried it on 2 different TV's). The video output on the iPods were set to TV, as well as the video type. I tried every combination I could find, best I could get was sound only. This was tried with my wifes iPod Touch, my iPod Touch, and my sons iPod Nano which has video capability.
With the iPod Touch's, I got sound but no video. With the Nano (newest version purchased 3/2010), I got an message saying to connect output device, then an error on the iPod saying "Output Device Not Supported."
Unfortunately, it simply appears that this product DOES NOT work with newer iPod products, or at least not all of them. I am very tech saavy and could not get it to function properly, I even looked though dozens of reviews here that say how they got it to work, with no luck. I am currently awaiting my refund for this product.
