Digital camera reviews of Apple iPod Dock for iPod nano 1GDigital camera Review: Thanks for nothing Apple Summary: 1 Stars
I should have know that Apple will try to nickel and dime you for EVERYTHING! They must think that if they are locking you into a single computer for iTunes, that you won't need to carry the cable around that they give you with the iPod. I can't believe that they charge $30 for a base and then want you to spend another $20-$30 for another cable to carry around. I won't be buying ANY accessories from Apple again. I will be supporting other vendors's products. Why not throw in a $2 cable & charge $35 for the package. Think of all the ill will that is generated by the surprise need to go out and get a cable. I do hate the evil empire of MS but Apple is becoming just as evil. The only difference is Apple has the "cool" factor going for it. Don't buy this product. Buy something similar from an outside vendor that throws in a cable - probably at a cheaper price.
Digital camera Review: WARNING: This doesn't work with ipod nano g2 Summary: 1 Stars
The new (aluminium) nanos just doesn't fit in the dock. Unfortunately this isn't mentioned anywhere on this page as far as I can see.
Buyer beware! (mines on the way back to the warehouse as we speak)
Digital camera Review: Wish I had done more research Summary: 2 Stars
Yeah, the Nano Dock is useful; however, be aware that it comes with NO cords whatsoever. This means that you have to purchase yet another accessory for it to be of any practical use. BOO Apple! There is absolutely no excuse for following in the footsteps of Microsoft!
Digital camera Review: Works Great Summary: 5 Stars
I got this dock for my first generation Ipod Nano. It is a simple device but makes charging and loading media onto my Ipod much easier. I haven't had any problems or troubles with it.
Digital camera Review: Works Great, looks great, one small complaint.... Summary: 4 Stars
The dock works as promised. The only hitch to me is I have to remove my Nano from its case to place it one the dock. I purchased the Apple brand rubber slip-on case to protect my Nano and it is a very, very thin case, however I must still remove the Nano in order to use the dock. You would think Apple would provide a small amount of room to accomodate thier own accesories.
