This our second 6G ipod and we love it! My wife and I are both able to take our music with us wherever we go. I love the fact that you can just place a speaker dock at home, office or classroom (my wife's a teacher) and take your entire music collection with you in your pocket. We've come a long way from cassettes and CDs! This ipod looks great and works perfectly! I highly recommend it!Digital camera Review: Awesome Ipod. Glad I picked this over ITouch

I have had several Ipods and was debating whether to upgrade to an ITouch or just get a Classic. I am glad I picked Classic. This is definitely a big improvement from the 5th generation. Love it, love it, love it. Love the space and transfer is lightning fast. Much much better. If ITouch comes in 80GB, I would probably get it. But its new technologies do not make it as good a PDA as a Palm TX, unfortunately (I'm talking about professional software, not pretty but empty applications). My old cable doesn't work with this new Classic. But no biggie, it comes with its own cable anyway. Too bad it doesn't come with earbud covers and a soft cover. Still, everything else has improved.. contacts, alarm, calendar, etc... things that I don't care about. But nice to have them improved. I might actually get to use them. I do a lot of traveling and had been watching movies on a laptop when there was enough room. Finally decided to buy a portable devices with my extra per diem and researched them all. For price and hard drive space, the iPod classic is the best.
I watch movies on the plane, while working out, and purchased the accessory to plug it into a TV which makes the iPod into a DVR that can store over 7 days worth of movies.
Getting your DVDs or videos into the iPod format required the most amount of research and learning. There were several free and affordable programs out there, but I started getting more involved in audio and video and for the PC user I recommend [...] you can buy all their software which can do video conversion in almost any format, audio conversion, audio mixing & editing, video mixing and editing and it's a great mix of everything.

I received my iPod the other day from Amazon and absolutley love it! I can't be happier. It's a great little product and I'd recommend it to anyone even remotely interested in an mp3 player. I still have a ton of music to put on it, and so far it's great. I received it from Amazon in an extremely timely manner. It makes me happy just to look at it.Digital camera Review: Bastante Bueno
