Digital camera reviews of Apple iPod classic 80 GB Silver (6th Generation)Digital camera Review: Don't leave home without it! Summary: 5 StarsI keep my iPod with me at all times. I recently upgraded to the 80G and love it! I take it with me everywhere I go!
Digital camera Review: A great replacement Summary: 5 StarsAfter I broke my iPod 3 years ago I swore I'd never go back, and drifted for several years through a series of lesser-known mp3 players. But after I mysteriously lost my last one, I thought maybe I'd spend a little more and get something I could watch at the gym as well as listen to while I do homework.
True, it could have more functions (my last mp3, a Sansa 8GB, had a FM radio and a voice recorder, plus a micro SD slot if I needed more space), and though pretty I still do think that Cover Flow is really quite useless. But it works extremely well, much faster than my Sansa in terms of skipping and finding songs. Seeing that the movies can really be watched and scrolling isn't a problem at all despite it being a touchpad, I felt more motivated to actually organize my music stash and find out how to rip videos (which, in turn, made everybody come to me for help ripping them; not a bad feeling when I'm usually technologically illiterate).
It fits nicely in the hand, and the weight is really nothing to worry about. With a silicon cover, I don't have to worry about dropping it anymore like I did with the first one. When you watch movies, the screen is crystal-clear and perfectly bright, each color beautifully illuminated (I really didn't expect it to be able to display such color). With the headphones, sound is very clear and the volume is also within the range I usually use it at. All in all, I'm very satisfied with what my iPod gives me, despite it being pricier than the last mp3 I had (but it's still a very good deal for the amount of space it has!).
Digital camera Review: Great iPod, Great Price Summary: 5 StarsI love this iPod..I use it in my car because I have an auxilary input and the sound quality is really good compared to other mp3 players. With 80 gigs of memory, I don't have to worry about space as well. I bought it used off amazon and I am definitely satisfied with the purchase.
Digital camera Review: It delivered!!! Summary: 5 StarsIt's everything I expected and more!!
If you were considering buying one I would recommend doing so.
Digital camera Review: Finally doing the iPod thing Summary: 5 StarsBeen one of those hold-outs waiting for I don't know what? Old school music guy who still has a turn table and plays vinyl. Well, I'm digitizing all the records and moving everything onto my new iPod with HD back-up in WAV format to burn full sound CD's. To me it's not that the iPod is or isn't everything they say it is but what works for you. I'm amazed at how simple and flexible the iPod is. Have had no issues what so ever. My library at this point is totally converted vinyl and sounds outstanding IMO. Even after converting all the WAV files to ACC. Takes a lot of time to fill in all the reference information and album data but if you enjoy music it's a labor of love. Great fun taking all my old stuff where ever I go. More to the point........reason I chose Apple was for the user interface with iTunes. Tried organizing my music with Windows Media Player but it's way more cumbersom and just didn't do it for me. My hats off to Apple for designing a splendid interface. It just flat out works and doesn't take lots of time to learn.
