Don't let the price fool you. When I got the "universal" mount only one of the arms is retractable so the device isn't even centered on the mount, the adhesive to stick the mount on your dash is a joke and with a device in it, it's too heavy for my vent and bangs around on every turn. this product is awesome! i have a samsung instinct with GPS and it is perfect for when i have to use it. it also fits my ipod touch. both stay in it very securely. best 3 bucks i have ever spent. very cool.Digital camera Review: will not last

I bought 3 suspecting that something this inexpensive would be just that....cheap. It was. I have used up all 3. They last for a month or so and then quit clamping. You pretty much get what you pay for.
