The iPod came in perfect condition and it arrived earlier then it was set to! Everything was great and I listen to it everyday! Two disappoints which caused me to return the new ipod nano.
1) poorer battery life compared with the 3rd generation
2) not compatible with the ipod accessories such as speaker systems.
Apple, with its ipod success is not concerned about customers who have invested $$ in accessories. I talked to the apples sales and tech support and their attitude was unacceptable. Apple is becoming worse than microsoft.
Apple can fix this by providing a free adapter that converts from new to old plug format. Will they? I hope so.

This stylish 4th generation Ipod has a bigger screen but the battery lasts only 4 hours. I can't believe Apple came up with an Ipod that has only 4 hours of battery life. This might have been OK in the 80's but this is simply utter nonsense in 2008. Also, the new Ipod doesn't seem to be compatible with other Ipod peripherals. For instance, whenever I try to recharge my Ipod, I'm getting an error message saying that charging is not supported, then it freezes after a few moments. Don't waste your money on this and wait for the 5th generation Ipod that will be introduced around this time next year.Digital camera Review: 4th gen nano review

Purchased as a gift for my best friend. The look on their face made it very worthwhile. Now, the thing is...I'm a little jealous of them having the nicer, newer model! Aesthetically, and memory-wise, it out-shines my ipod (a 3rd gen nano). I also purchased this gift for less than I paid for my own...a year ago! If you want an MP3 player, look nowhere else than apple ipods, whatever the generation! I still won't be trading mine in anytime soon.Digital camera Review: 4th generation nano review

I love it , it works perfectly. I use it in when I am driving so I recomend that if your old one used to charge on the car, this one may not, but for $30.00 extra Scoche has a product that will fix your problem.Its hardly an inconvienence though I have seen others making it a big deal.I use it on an armband in the gym so if its sideways, if you shake it it adjusts. It has other very useful features that the second gen nano I had before did not. I was considering the touch for the internet capabilities, however I have a laptop and 2 cell phones so I personally believe I have enough internet access, and it is very small, so why complicate things with a bigger product. Amazon always sends things early and has very high quality control and follow up so thats's why they will always have my business
