I visited an Apple store to check out the newest I pods as I wanted a smaller one for the gym and working out. The fourth generation I pods are elongated and thin, but not as cute to me as the older 3rd. generation players. I had my heart set on a pretty blue one( 3rd. generation ), but the store said "no longer available...gone !" I learned also that the third generation I pods are compatible with all my previous accessories (speakers, cables, etc.)but the fourth generation are not. Amazon to the rescue ! I bought an 8GB blue one and I love it ! My only concern is that the cable is a little hard to insert in the base and seems to be more delicate than on my older model. Gave 2 of these as gifts to my children(12 and 15) for Christmas. Originally the 15 year old thought it wouldn't be much different from a much less expensive mp3 that she already had. My 12 year old definitely wanted the nano. If one was getting one, they both were getting one. Well, the 15 year old loves her nano...many more cool features that were not on her mp3. They both enjoy the screen a great deal....No complaints about this product. It's a winner.Digital camera Review: A great deal.

When my wife lost her ipod in our move I was afraid that we didn't have the money to replace it. This was a great deal and was delivered promptly. Of course my concern was the condition it might be in but it was perfect. It's nice to deal with a fair seller.
