I wanted something small for walking and this is perfect. It has worked really well - the only thing that bothers me is that I can't transfer the tunes to my computer. I downloaded tunes from my best friends computer and then lost them when I tried to add to it from my computer. There's only certain songs I want to work out to and I was trying to only have those - I talked to the folks at the Apple store and they told me it was made that way on purpose to keep their iTunes stuff proprietary or somesuch....oh well, I can't have everything. I LOVE MY IPOD!!!! There's nothing much else to say but I love my ipod. It's cute and small and the clip really holds on to anything. You can pin it anywhere and it won't come off. Mine is pink and goes with everything, all my friends love it so much they've gotten themselves shuffles too. I do wish it could hold more music, but I am being greedy since it holds 24 of my cds already. Definitely get it!!!Digital camera Review: LOVE my ipod--love my music

Who'd a thunk an AARP member would become a fanatical iPod user, but I did. Having just walked home from 'the Loop' in Chicago--I could only do so with my music in my ears (and good weather). If you love music, or want to listen to anything including yesterdays webcast from whatever--this is the gizmo for you. Sound crazy? Maybe, but here is the logic - a rugged, "kidproof" version available in several places has many drawbacks. The most glaring drawback was the battery usage - the kidproof versions I found took AAA batteries. The shuffle charges through the USB connection. The shuffle also doesn't have a fancy screen that can get cracked or broken. Even better is the built in clip. The sound doesn't suffer either - my oldest daughter has a 30gb Ipod and the sound quality is comparable. There is enough space with 1gb of space that my wife can put a playlist on there to use when she works out as well. The kidproof versions offered only 256 or 512mb of space, and that's for the same price I paid for the shuffle. The ipod shuffle is pretty cool. I like it because unlike most ipod, this one clips onto your clothes. For the other ipods you usually have to buy a case. It's also small so I can fit it in my purse and it's not heavy so I don't ever feel it when I'm wearing it. I got the color pink, and at first I was afraid of what it was going to look like, but I like how vibrant the color is. The space on this ipod is limited compare to the others, but I was able to put a little bit over 250 songs on it. If you think you need more space, I would say to buy one of the bigger ipods. All in all, I would recommend it to a friend because it does what I need it to do and that's listening to music.
