Digital camera reviews of Apple iPod shuffle 1 GB Silver (2nd Generation) OLD MODEL

Digital camera Review: Cleanest Ipod ever
Summary: 5 Stars

Great little piece of machinery. I use it for running, biking, and general random abuse. Just today I washed it with my running shorts, along with my Bose earphones and it not only still works, it responds to its dock quicker than ever. Spin cycle worthy. Get it. (headphones still work too)

Digital camera Review: Convenient
Summary: 4 Stars

The best part about the shuffle is that it's so small and easy to just clip to your shirt. You won't even notice that it's there. Compared to using a 1st generation shuffle, the on/off and shuffle/cycle switches on are a bit harder to use (since they're on the bottom of the device and challenging to get at if you have large fingers). Also, obviously the device does not have a display, so you have to just scroll along to get to the song you want if you have alot of songs stored in there. If you're ok with these 2 minor things, this a great little device.

Digital camera Review: Crap
Summary: 2 Stars

I bought this as a replacement to my other shuffle that was accidentally washed. I figured I would purchase the same one because I liked it so much. I got this in the mail and it looked like it was in good shape, but upon use the battery life only lasted about 1.5 hours where my old one would last almost a day without continuous use. Since apple has now put out a new model of the same thing, I recently bought one. These things are tanks otherwise, I use it when I hit the mountains.

Digital camera Review: Cutesy size, convenient, reliable, though limited in function
Summary: 3 Stars

The size and weight are its biggest assets. Sound quality is excellent. The earphones don't fit too well though. The iTunes interface is quite limiting, though that may have improved in later versions.

The lack of a screen does not make much of a difference if you are only going to be listening to songs on this iPod. Given that it is 1GB, you anyway won't have more than a couple of hundred songs.

The switch to switch it on, or to toggle between sequential and shuffle play are a little awkward to use.

The iTunes software that comes with it is not very intuitive or useful.

Excellent value for money.

Digital camera Review: Damn Good.
Summary: 5 Stars

It's small, cheap, easy to use and holds over 300 tunes.
