Digital camera Review: Great Shuffle---Don't buy it!

Looks great, worked great... the first day. On my second run the headphone controls quit working, I couldn't even adjust the volume. What is with the headphone scam...can't use any other ones...and high risk of not working...don't waste your money. I took mine back and bought an old shuffle...where was R & D?
Did they even test it??? With real people doing real activities?

I am a huge Apple fan. I've owned just about everything - Mac, Laptop, iPod, iPhone, etc, etc. Love them all - until this. I hate to say it, but this is the first product from them that I think is terrible. I assume that the Shuffle is intended for "active" people, right? It's terrible for anything active. Here's my list of complaints:
1. Cord is so short, I can't use it plugged into a Treadmill.
2. Sound won't go loud enough.
3. DOES NOT WORK WELL WITH ANY OTHER HEADPHONES. Unless you use the headphones it comes with, you have absolutely no way to control sound, play, etc.
4. Headphones fall out while running.
I tried it, but hated it, so bought an original Shuffle. Love the original.

Just the fact of having the controls on the headphones is already a big reason to not buy this product. The Apple headphones have never been that great to begin with. If you really want a shuffle, Apple still has the 2nd generation available and you can use any comfortable/quality headphones on the market today.Digital camera Review: Great idea but poorly executed

15 mins into my first workout, the Female and Male voices went crazy. "PLAYLIST 1" "PLAYLIST 2" "ALL SONGS". It stopped playing music and would not stop repeating either the Artist and Song, or the Playlist Number. It returned to normal the next workout, until about the 20 min mark and the same error occured. Basically, about 15-20 mins into a workout, this thing turns to crap.
Also the earbuds feel cheap. If I did not know they were Apple, I would have guessed they were a knock off.

Great product - I wish that it was clearer that the remote controls are on the headphones... I'm not a fan of the Apple headphones, but I don't have a choice in the matter at the moment.
