As many other reviews suggested, controls are a big problem. The controls located in the earphone chord is too sensitive to moisture. I was using it during working out but after 5-10 minutes it starts behaving weird. After I start sweating, the voice over repeats song names erratically. It also skips, forwards and pauses the playbacks in random. The volume control stops working and ultimately it dies. I visited the Apple store, they suggested to use it in a DRY environment. Well, the Shuffle designers did not know the use of a shuffle while designing it.
I am an Apple fan but the 3G Shuffle experience will make me think a bit more before I grab a new Apple product in future.

This Shuffle has all it's controls on the included, lousy headphones. Apple earbuds are notoriously ill-fitting and have poor sound quality. You won't be able to adjust volume or change songs if you use your own headset, until Apple and 3rd party adapters are available at EXTRA COST. Shame on Apple for this design.
