As an iPod music player the iPod Touch is fantastic. As a photo browser it's great. As a video player it is, screen size limitation aside, incredible. And as a game platform it is super fun! An amazing toy, but the time and date reset randomly at each synch unless iTunes is started up manually after connecting to the PC, a common but not universal problem. And if you have an iPod Radio Remote, these do not work with the iPod Touch, so no radio. Most seriously there is no Flash support in the browswer on the iPod Touch yet, and this is a very serious obstacle to web browsing. There is a supplied YouTube app but it is rather lame -- you can't sort the returns as in a browser by relevance, date added, view count, etc. Another annoyance is that video playlists are not recognized. And this thing is very definitely not a PDA replacement (if you are on the Microsoft side).Digital camera Review: Amazing little machine

Normally, my husband is the electronic "maniac" and I just nod my head and hope it will pass. This time he got me interested and I must say this is just amazing. It can do about EVERYTHING. Right now I am monitoring my diet, listening to my favorite music and checking email, without my computer. There is no end to what's available and we find new applications everyday, even looking at a prospective lot to park our RV in Arizona on Google Earth. I LOOOOOOOOVE this little machine. It is super intuitive and very easy to use right out of the box. If you have good wireless it really functions as a mini computer- I even used it to pay bills online... What can I said?... Ok let see.... Like other apple products like Macbook and Mac Pro, ipod are synonymous of simplicity and performance. I get my first Touch 1G and I can't believe the millions of possibilities of apps I found, Its broke the wall of apple to close their S.O.
Nowadays Thousands of developments are creating incredible powers apps in different kinds of activities: Science, medical, Games, Business etc..... The Wifi connectivity is an extra plus, the interface of safari in the Touch is really remarkable. And now I am glad to have the opportunity to upgrade to 2G Touch that offer all the futures of the 1G + speakers and more processor speed. That is useful with the high end new apps, and the coming ones.
Other excellent point to get and Ipod is the extremely good costume service in the apple retail store if you look for guarantee and replaces.
