Digital camera reviews of Apple iPod touch 32 GB (1st Generation) OLD MODEL

Digital camera Review: Great
Summary: 4 Stars

Great product. I would give it 5 stars but because of the interaction with iTunes, I feel like big brother is watching over me. DRM is one thing, but I don't know of any other product that you purchase where the vendor watches over your use of it like iTunes does. Creepy. Annoying. Pointless.

Digital camera Review: Great Product its really AWESOME!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

This is my first Ipod ever and I really like it. Normally I go against the grain buy other brands because I'm no apple fan boy. Creative is my preferred choice of mp3. But I just love the features on this, while the inteface isn't as great as other players its still very sweet if you love gadgets. It is pricey but well worth every penny if you take care of it. Now on its own its very good, but when you use the Jailbreak program on this its 100 times better. I'm still no apple fanboy but I love this product!

Digital camera Review: Great device, ok sound quality, poor battery life
Summary: 4 Stars

It's a really good device. It has a very smooth and sensitive touch screen when compared to knockoffs. The interface is very sleek, it's fast. The new 2.0 firmware is great, as it works with all the applications. The device itself is very thin and just the right size. The calendar, contact list, photos, video playback and weather over WiFi make this a great organizer for me.

The sound quality is mediocre at best. I had an iPod Classic 160GB before this and it's around that level. I'm listening to it with UE triple.fi 10's, so I can hear the tinny/muddiness of the sound pretty well. This is most noticeable when you listen to the same song on your PC and then again on the touch. It's a small device and looks like one of things sacrificed is the sound quality because of a smaller, more power-efficient DAC.

The largest drawback to the iPod touch is the battery life. I can't really go more than a day of normal use without charging it. Looks like as these things get smaller and smaller, you win some and you lose some.

Digital camera Review: Great for Travel
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased this device primarily to use on a recent trip to Mexico. The resort we stayed had wireless internet so I was able to keep up with my mail. The screen really is a bit small but it is a worthwhile trade off to not have to carry a laptop. I also moved all my music and recorded books to the device and it holds everything. I like the controls a lot better than I did my old i-pod. If the I-phone ever becomes available with Verizon I am sure that my wife would upgrade. This is a very useful device.

Digital camera Review: Great product
Summary: 4 Stars

I bought an Apple iPod Touch 32GB and I took it with me from the US to use in India. As I fondly call it the "iTouch", it is a great device for someone who bought it as his first iPod.

Plus:
* Great user-friendly interface
* Sleek design
* Ambient light sensor
* Wi-Fi

Minus:
* Not scratch-proof
* Needs the iTunes s/w
* No Del/ edit/ rearrange function in the iPod itself. U need to plug into a computer everytime.
* Wi-Fi, espec. in India where wi-fi is still not widely available. So practically no usage of wi-fi and hence the internet!
