Ordered the Apple iPod touch 8GB (1st Generation)"NEW" from Amazon. As a first time buyer with Amazon I was extremly dissatisfied! The item came in as Referbished. I order the condition of the iPod as "NEW". Spoke to customer service sent me a shipping label and returned the first iPod. Another iPod was sent again "NEW" and received it as Referbished, go figure. I have been back and forth on the phone with Amazon since the end of July of 2009. Today I hung up with yet another customer service representative offering me free shippping if I chose to order another product. All I wanted answered is if a consumer orders a product from Amazon as "NEW" should'nt that product be received as "NEW"? That is what I requested and wanted to pay for. This has been a nightmare and yet as of today my question is still not answered and I am still without an iPod. I am unsure of whether I will do business with this organization or not.

I purchased this item for my 16-year-old son, and he absolutely loves it. We, as a family, all checked it out, and it's amazing and well worth the price. I would recommend purchasing a case for it also, as it is small and best to protect it from scratches etc. It's awesome!!!
