I was looking for a portable device that would allow me to check my email, play music and have features for downtime like waiting in an office or between classes such as reading or playing games. This device has done this all and more. I had no problem setting it up with my current itunes account on my laptap and downloading my current music library. There was also no problem in setting it up to access my wifi at home or at school. I can also read my Kindle library if I don't happen to have my Kindle with me, which has been a nice feature. This little device seems even more amazing after the iPad has now released. I thought our goal was to make the newer product version smaller and more portable. In that case, the iPod Touch is the newer product to the awkward dinosaur that is the iPad. No more flailing your hands over a large screen to navigate web pages and your menu screen! Get nearly everything the iPad has to offer except the office-lite apps and some trivial iPad games for less (yes, LESS) than a third of the iPad's price, a fourth of the weight, and you can fit it in your pocket always ready for when you need it (I keep mine snugly in between the fold of my wallet)! Its a steal!
