First off, I've been using my 8 GB iPod Touch for about two weeks and am very impressed with it. Here are the pros and cons:
Pros:
-Great screen
-Long battery life
-Quick recharging time
-Good speakers
-Good apps
-Fast
-Sleek and stylish
-Very customizable
-Fun
Cons:
-No cleaning cloth
-No camera
Although I would liked to have had a built-in camera, this little device is still incredible especially for the price. I'll post updates so as to show durability and speed over time.

What can't I say this amazing product. Besides downloading my favorite music and videos, there are thousands of apps you can use. I've customized my unit with apps that I can use in my work. We recently purchased the ipod touch from Amazon. Our product was shipped via the USPS and took the normal 4 days to travel from New Hampshire to Vermont. Unfortunately the box felt extremely light when it arrived. It was light, because someone had opened the end carefully and stolen the ipod. A quick email to Amazon and another was on it way. Six days later - remember it is only a 3 hours drive to New Hampshire - the local Post Office called to inform us that a package arrived at their facility and had been opened; another stolen ipod. The PO did talk to Amazon and they shipped another ipod. I have nothing but praise for how Amazon handled the situation relative to customer care. We did not have to fill out eight million forms, or wait on hold for 2 hours ten times to get a manager to make an approval. We are cooperating fully in helping Amazon get reimbursed by the USPS for the losses. AGAIN - AMAZING SERVICE. We have been regular Amazon customers and will continue to be.
As for the Ipod, my wife loves it and its capabilities far exceeded our expectations.

I am so glad I waited for this! This ipod is like having a mini computer in my pocket!! I LOVE it! The application addiction can be problematic in the beginning but after you upload a bunch of stupid free apps like the laugh box, scream box or ihorn...you really start to enjoy the wonderful apps that have been a real help for me as a teacher. I teach music and I can literally carry all my books and a metronome with me at all times inside my ipod.!! My only regret is I should've bought the ipod with a bigger memory but 8MB does the job for the most part, especially after you UNLOAD the stupid apps after they grow old in 3 days or less! Save room for the goodies because there are PLENTY! Oh and save your money too for them. Best advice is to join either Inbox Dollars" or [...] and get free points for an itunes card for buying all those great apps on itunes stores! They are the best, Amazon saves me money by buying it here and those other websites make me money for more itunes apps and songs! It's a win-win!
