This is probably the best gift that i have ever gotten my self.
My family,friends,co workers etc just love this product,now everyone wants one.
This thing has some amazing technology, it`s not your typical mp3 player.
i have never seen technology like this in any other electric component.
Congratulation to apple on a magnificent devise.
Now i am thinking on going mac all the way,sorry P.C but i just got to have the best.
GET IT for any family member,trust me they will love it.
their are two generations for this ipod ,you want to get the 2nd generation,it has a little more features ,it`s thinner and looks a lot better.

Didn't really get what all of the "hoo ha" was about until I purchased one for my 11-year-old son for Christmas. WOW!! I've owned a couple of different iPods for years....and who would ever think that Apple would be able to improve upon near perfection? Welllll...they have. Minus the click wheel, this iPod, as the name implies, responds to touch; and the lack of the click wheel results in a bigger screen for viewing. And this screen delivers a near flawless picture...for viewing movies, videos, album art and the like.Now gaming...with the Touch. Reminiscent of the Wii, the Touch responds to movement. So go ahead and play the ferrari racing game while "driving" using the entire Touch as the wheel. And remember having to connect to the PC to access the iTunes store? Not anymore. With WiFi capability, one need only access an available wireless network to download the latest music or games.....AWESOME.
Although I am the current owner of a perfectly fine iPod 30GB with that click wheel, I will have to pass it on to become the proud owner of a Touch. Besides....how can we let the kids--with no jobs--have more technology than the parents???

I WAS INTERSTED IN GETTING A IPOD BUT WHICH ONE WAS THE QUESTION. I ASKED AROUND TO SEE WHAT WAS THE BEST WAY TO GO SO I LIKED THE IPOD TOUCH CAUSE IT WAS WHAT I WANTED WHILE ENJOYING WORKING OUT AND DOING OTHER ACTIVITIES. STILL HAVENT MASTERED USEAGE BUT STILL LEARNING BUT I CAN SAY I AM HAPPY AND SATISFIED WITH MY PURCHASED.
