Digital camera Review: CONFUSING TO ASSEMBLE

THIS WAS DIFFICULT TO ASSEMBLE. IT HAS PART FOR THE DVD STAND AND IT HAS PARTS FOR CD STAND. THESE ARE DIFFERENT PART AND THE INSTRUCTION DO NOT TELL WHICH PARTS GO TO THE DVD OR WHICH PARTS GO THE CD STAND.

This unit is hard to assemble. Once assembled the cd's, if not balanced perfectly, will fall throught the rack. Once they hit the cd's on the level below, they may unbalance them and they fall, creating a comedic domino effect where all the cd's fall off. A waste of money and time. The fact that I already own 2 of these and am now looking at a 3rd makes this rack worthy of 5 stars.
Instructions on assembly are good, making it a fairly easy process. You can space the 3 tiers to your liking; however, I strongly recommend you really think about your needs for the spacing of the racks (small for CDs vs large for DVD cases) because they are *NOT* adjustable 'on the fly.'
It's only about 25" across and a single unit stands about 56" high. They are modular, so you can stack one on top of another. Also, they have a nice, modern look to them.
I live in a small apartment in a big city, so space is at a premium; the compact size of the Elf Jr. is what makes it most appealing to me. I also love their 'upgradable' capability. To be able to stack one on top of another as my collection expands is brilliant.
I definitely recommend the Elf Jr. Multimedia Rack for cramped or space conscious people.

I love this...it's my second one. I love that even after a year that I purchased the first unit, I was able to purchase the 2nd unit. It's stacks right on top of the first. Comes with wall straps to prevent tipping. Tooks some figuring to assemble as instructions weren't that great, but I did it myself with no real problems. Great product at a fair price...I paid $35 here at Amazon on sale. Hopefully will be able to get another next year or so. Once this is full.
