Digital camera Review: A simple, solid storage spinner for a good price

This DVD/CD storage spinner seems to have been a pretty good buy. I thought that it was decently priced for its purposes and how it adequately delivered. The assembly was easy, even for a not very mechanical-oriented, hands-on type of guy like me who got really cautiously slow and thorough in assembling this. For storage, its simple, spinning design provides empty shelves that can be filled in different ways up to the user and accessed conveniently. For visual appeal, its simple, black-and-dark-brown colors keep it simple and nice-looking while being muted enough to give attention to where it should be, the DVDs, CDs, and other items that it stores. I've intentionally used the word "simple" several times above, because that seems to define it very well.
I gave it a 4 out of 5 for its simple delivery on its purposes. If it had something really unique, extraordinary, yet purposeful that defined it, I would have rated it higher. I wasn't looking for something special like that in the first place, though.

I read several reviews before I purchased two of these stands, they were on sale, now the price at $50 is too high. I was frightened after reading some reviews that I wouldn't be able to put it together. So i kept it in the box until my construction friend came by to put it together for me. I sat and watched and helped, he put it together in under 30 minutes for both. The directions are very poor, but the product is excellent. It holds DVDs, VCR, CD so perfectly in different ways. It looks so beautiful in my little living room. I needed something for a small space. I even use the top of it for statuary and for my table lamp, it is almost like a side table. I really love it and I would like another one, but I have to wait until it comes on sale for about $30.00, that should be the real price based on the material used.Digital camera Review: Atlantic Typhoon CD/DVD Stand

Very great product. It's small and holds a lot of items. Assembly isn't that hard, but the directions was slightly confusing at times. If you are looking for a clean and modern-looking, efficient and low-cost DVD storage solution, look no further! Most other DVD storage units in the same price range as the Typhoon hold 50-80 fewer DVDs and take up more space to boot!
Unlike some other reviewers' products, my Typhoon came perfectly intact, no scratches or scuffs anywhere. Each piece was clearly labeled and all hardware came neatly packaged and separated by label (no hunting for which screw is "Q" and which is "H" like many other "assembly required" units!) Instructions were clear and simple.
Overall--it looks very good, especially for the price. I will soon be purchasing another for the remainder of our DVD collection!
