I got these as a cheap alternative to some of the more expensive stands out there. 2x.00 dollars is no big hit in the pocket, and amazons prime made it even sweeter. I had my rear speakers sitting at weird angles and they had a habbit of falling. I decided to pick up these and see if they could neat things up a bit. The stands are VERY sturdy, and do what they are made to do. I have a samsung 5.1 set, and the rear speakers are pretty small. The stands themselves are great and very sturdy. They have 3 methods for attaching the speakers. 1.) sticky pads on the bottom. 2.) a bar that runs up the back of the speaker, and if your speaker has a bolt hole in the center back, you can use a screw and a washer to mount the speaker to the stand. 3.) screw holes on the bottom. You can screw into your speakers using the 4 screw holes on the bottom. I went with the sticky pads on the bottom, and it seems to be holding my speakers fine. My speakers had little feet that made it more difficult to get it secure, but in the end it still is working good for me. I purchased these speaker stands to mount the satellites that came with my Pioneer HTS-GS1. I love them! They have several great features to them.
1) Price-at around 70 dollars shipped for four, you can't beat that.
2) Wire routing-you can route the speaker wire through the tube of the stand so that the wires remain hidden. Very important to me.
3) Height adjustability of stand- So you can optimize them at around ear level for better sound
4) quality-sturdy, they stay put and so far everything has worked perfectly
5) Mounting options-Gives you several different options so you are able to mount almost any type of speaker.
After trying to use a provided bolt and washer which didn't work too well, I just removed the L bracket and used the provided double sided tape which worked fine. I bought 5 sets of Wiremold White Cordmate C110 kits to conceal the wiring which went to each of the four satellite speakers, and it looks excellent. The stands really help to optimize the sound field, and they work and look great.

Bought these stands for my JBL speakers. These stands are outstanding in every way, and I couldn't have asked for a better set of stands. The fact that they were less than $40 for two makes them that much more fantastic. The base is a good weight, and is very stable on carpet when telescoped, even for these speakers (they weigh about 15 lbs each). The stands include options for using the double-sided sticky tapes or screws to secure the speakers to the stand. I ended up drilling pilot holes into each speaker, and used the included screws to secure them to the base, which makes for a very secure, stable installation. The speaker wire is easily threaded inside the stand, to promote good cable management. The stands now make these speakers look impressive, and greatly enhanced the sound quality of them (they were originally placed on furniture, and the rear speakers on the fireplace mantle). These stands are highly recommended...and for the price, you can't go wrong.
