Digital camera reviews of Atlantic Wave 1386 Click to enlarge Wave DVD Tower (Black Steel/Cherry Wood Base )Digital camera Review: Easy construction, compact design Summary: 4 Stars
I think this is a great product, I felt it very easy to put together and I have no thoughts of it falling over at all, unless considerable force were given, in which case any stand would fall. I read the reviews before purchasing, how some felt it difficult and time consuming to construct, so I specifically watched the clock. I opened the box at 10:27. Text messages, puppy's jumping on me, stop to chase said puppy when I realize I'm missing one of the round things for the top, finish construction, time: 10:40. No big deal at all. The bottom peg screwdriver thing is strange, I will give you that, but it's also as easy to figure out as a toddler's toy.
The only downside I found is that it is very budgeted with what can be put inside of it's compartments. If you own a boxed series, and the box's design is of anything of a substantial thickness, forget about putting it in this storage tower.
I'm very pleased, and I like how it's very compact and has finally given a home to all those random dvds that have been scattered about. Recommended, but I do suggest you keep some other form of storage medium as well, for the bigger stuff.
Digital camera Review: Easy to assemble Summary: 4 Stars
Easy to assemble, works well although be careful if you have a lot of box sets because they might not fit perfectly.
Digital camera Review: Exactly what I ordered Summary: 5 Stars
The dvd stand was exactly what I ordered. If was in perfect condition. It arrived on time.
Digital camera Review: Fits the room Summary: 5 Stars
My son requested this DVD tower for his room because the color and unique look fit the style of his room perfectly. He uses it for DVDs and X-Box games.
Digital camera Review: Frustrating Assembly! Summary: 1 Stars
You would think assembly of such a simple item would be easy, but this was not. You need a great deal of strength to force in the plastic "screws" (not really screws) that are required to secure the base to the rack. It took me over a half hour, and my hands are very sore. The wooden balls do not fit on top, as shown - the holes in the wooden balls aren't nearly large enough - they would have to be drilled larger to fit.
