Digital camera reviews of Atlantic Wave 1386 Click to enlarge Wave DVD Tower (Black Steel/Cherry Wood Base )

Digital camera Review: Functional, cute, good storage, but you might poke your eye out.
Summary: 4 Stars

I chose this DVD tower on the sheer facts that it stated it held 74 DVDs (more than the norm), wasn't boring, and was reasonably priced when compared to other DVD racks. The assembly took me about 10 minutes and was quite straightforward until I got to the end where I had to attached the wooden balls that go on the top of the rack. The holes in the balls were way to small to be inserted on to the rod on the top of the rack. After much jamming and hammering attempts (and a bruised thumb because I'm so great at hammer coordination)I was only able to get 1 out of the 4 balls onto the four metal rods.) This might just be just my particular problem with the set of balls that I got, but I am fine with not having the wooden balls on top as I was able to place my 8 wide DVD set of DVDs on top.

Just be advised, if you are a parent or have precious ones in the house, I would be weary of having this DVD rack in the house in case you have a situation like mine that would keep the metal rods exposed. Other than this, assembly was easy, holds lots of DVDs (even the double and triple DVD wide sets), and looks cute in my living room. =)

Digital camera Review: GREAT LITTLE DVD STORAGE
Summary: 5 Stars

i was very excited to see that this inexpensive dvd tower was sturdy and stylish and it holds many dvds. i am pleased with this purchase.

Digital camera Review: Give me a BREAK!!!
Summary: 4 Stars

It's called "Assembly Required" folks. Takes 5 minutes- tops. It's really not that hard to put together. Honestly. It's only a DVD tower. It's a great product if you know how to use a screwdriver. It also looks great in my living room. I own two of them and everyone that sees them loves the way they look next to the entertainment center.

Digital camera Review: Good Enough
Summary: 4 Stars

I've owned three of these for about 3 or 4 years now. My DVD collection has grown so I came on amazon to see if I could find the same rack. I'm happy they have it. My 3 look as good as new. I've never had them tip over either. Yes, it was a little hard assembling them because of the tight fitting. But after the past few years of having them standing tall without disappointment, I'm guessing the tight fitting parts are a good thing.

Digital camera Review: Good for an apartment or dorm
Summary: 3 Stars

I ordered this for my house as a quick fix to my rapidly growing anime collection. Now that I have moved into a new apartment, I think this is the perfect thing for it. It does fall apart if you try to move it, though.

It is easy to assemble and the only tool you need is the little metal thing that comes in the box. It did take a little bit of doing to attach it to the base and put the little "stoppers" on the end to prevent it from detaching because they weren't technically screws, so they had to be twisted and pushed on at the same time. Also, it took force to get the balls to go onto the top end of the rack, but once I finished with it, it looked wonderful.

I have a lot of anime, and it will hold some boxed sets (like the slimmer ones that unfold and have all of the DVD's arranged that way) but will not hold the larger boxes that hold seperate DVD boxes ("artboxes"). I don't have many of those, though, so that wasn't too big of a deal. But, of you have a lot of these, you'll probably want to skip this model.
