This little speaker system is tiny. When I got it, I thought there is no way it's going to produce good sound, but it does. All I have to do is plug in my ipod and turn it on and it's ready to go. It's loud enough for me to have it on in the kitchen and clean the whole house (I live in a split-level). If I need to move it, it's very, very portable. I plan on taking it to the beach with me. My son was pleased w/the product until he inserted the batteries. The door wouldn't close properly. After several family members tried to close the door on the batteries, it was locked in place. As always done by me, this product and all product competitors was researched extensively over months before determining this as the smallest speaker system meeting my personal specifications with loudest range and at best price through Amazon. As determined, it serves perfectly my laptop computer and doubles for my Ipod and portable CD. Ideally, it fits comfortably into my laptop travelling case. The only drawback was the high $10 fee for shipping by Amazon's vendor. Regardless, even with this high shipping fee, Amazon's net price was still better than others researched.Digital camera Review: Best bargain I've had in 10 years!

I'm not the kind to leave a review, and I'm not a fan of Audio Source; however, I felt compelled to sing the praises of this little unit. It's the perfect travel speaker - a little larger than a glasses case, no wiring to pack, great sound, plenty of volume, a built in audio plug, and a self-contained case that protects the speakers during travel.
If your looking for simplicity (business trips already require packing too much gear) this is for you. Just throw in in your luggage, plug into your mp3 player in the hotel room, and adjust the volume. I like being able to carry it into the lavatory while I'm showering, etc. in the morning, since it takes up so little space.
At $25 - 27 (including shipping!) you cannot go wrong with this product.

I bought this for my husband because sometimes his ipod is safer not hanging on his hip. I had tried another little one and it was awful but the reviews said this was a hit so I took a chance. I can plug it into my USB wall adapter (whatever it's called) that Apple makes, but the batteries have been good for almost two months now. It also folds up compact and protected and easy to carry around. I'm not good at the review thing, but I would highly recommend this product. I would buy one again if I needed another.
