Digital camera Review: Decent sound, stopped working after two months
Summary: 1 Stars
Surprisingly good sound from such small drivers, nothing earth shaking but better than the JBL On tour system, which while louder, have terrible sound.
Sadly, these died on me after only two months of moderate use, never abused, just started spontaineously shutting off, volume dropping, then not working at all.
Pity.
Will continue to search for a reliable portable speaker set.

These little battery-powered speakers work well. They are not high fidelity speakers. I use them primarily to listen to spoken podcasts, not music. But they're OK for music, too. For inexpensive, very portable speakers, they do the job just fine.Digital camera Review: Distortion

Every time you turn the speaker son you'll have to adjust the volume, because it always starts so low you can't hear anything.
On the other hand, if you turn it up too high there's distortion that messes up the bass.
The 3D button doesn't really make a noticeable difference, but the fact you can take it with you everywhere is nice.
Over all I wouldn't buy them again.
Digital camera Review: Don't Leave Home Without It!

This is an absolute must-have for those who cannot be without their iPods and music while on the go. Perfect for the beach, a hotel room or visiting friends & relatives who aren't (and may never be) part of the iPod generation. I researched endlessly before purchasing my Altec/Lansing home system instead of the Bose (price, treble/bass functions, etc). With that major purchase out of the way, I still needed something that was highly portable but offered great sound output and had a generous battery life. I found it in this product. What a perfect companion piece. I take it easily from the office, back to home and then out with me again whenever the need dictates. Perfect, built-in carrying case. The only (and I mean only) issue I had was with the battery compartment cover. One of the prongs broke off when I was putting in a new set of batteries after receiving the item. Quite delicate. But, no worries. I slapped a piece of white duct tape on it and voila, it sits perfectly on a level surface and I can't see the tape. I have had these Audio Source DB5 speakers for over 3 years now. They are phenomenal with fabulous clear, rich sound. I have heard many travel speakers over the years and nothing even compares. Everyone whom I have shared these with wants to get set, saying they have not had heard anything nearly as good sounding. However, seems Audio Source may have discontinued them...which is unfortunate. I hope they have start or have started manufacturing them or any type of travel speaker. They definitely produce high quality that is affordable.
