I've been searching for some wireless speakers for my home stereo which is at one end of the house, and the living room is at the other end (over 20 feet away, through 2 walls) and I don't have a basement to run wires through to hook up "real" speakers. The speakers arrived in great condition and in a timely fashion. I got it all set up and turned on the power buttons, and all worked well. I'm not sure the remote is operational, though. I've read other reviews that said it wasn't. If you're an audiophile, you will not like these speakers, and I advise you to pay more for a higher grade. They are adequate for my needs, and I might even hook up the transmitter to my tv to get more of a surround-sound environment.Digital camera Review: Eh...Ok, with some really irritating issues

I just wanted a set of wireless speakers that I could hook to my PC and install in my living room so I could listen to the music on my PC without having to be in my office. These work ok - they're not stereo speakers, but they sound ok. You have to adjust the volume on each one seperately which is no big deal except that you have to re-adjust every time you turn them on. The on/off control on the remote doesn't work, so I have to turn each one on manually which is a pain in the neck. The volume control on the remote works fine, but again - you have to adjust each speaker seperately. The most annoying thing is that every 5 minutes or so, one of the speakers pops. I purchased the exact same speakers branded Jensen from a local Kohl's.(on sale plus 15% off) Great buy.
I brought them home and hooked them up in about 10 minutes. The sound is better than the KML wired speakers I have in my garage. Some mentioned not enough base...these are under a $100! Turn up the base on your output and you actually will have a nice sound. I actually cannot believe the sound coming from these. Love them. Just one thing I am confused about. It says if you shut the power down on your output after five minutes the base station will shut off automatically. On these the red power light on the transmitter is on constant. Don't know if this is right or not. I thought it would shut down all the way. Other than that, keep the speakers in a spot you can reach or hang them up as the remote will not work unless pointed right at it. Definitely a great buy if you want music outside or in another room without wires.

I purchased a set of these speakers for my Mom. I was so impressed, I am ordering another set for me. It was easy to hook up. I put one by her chair and one in the kitchen. She likes to turn it real low just enought to hear and every word comes through crystal clear. It saves her from having to turn the volume up on the TV. I haven't tried it on batteries so I can't tell you much as to how they work on batteries, but plugged in, they work great. If you are using them indoors near a receptacle, I highly recommend them.
