Digital camera Review: Do not buy the shredder. I'm saving you money and frustration.

I noticed the last two reviewers had the same problem with their shredder like I did.
To sum it up, do not buy this shredder. It's inexpensive but it's a waste of money. Honestly. Look elsewhere. I'm saving you money and frustration. Don't be fooled by the average 4 star rating.
The first time I used it, it worked like it's suppose to. I set it on "AUTO" and when I put paper in, it would shred and then stop when there is no paper inside. I shredded one basketful of papers with no problem.
The second time around, paper got stuck inside. I wasn't putting in too many sheet either. I unplugged it and tried to get the paper out the best I could. I plugged it back in and it wouldn't shred when I put paper inside.
I tried to put a credit card in like the manual says cause there was something blocking the sensor in the middle of the shredded so it wouldn't detect any paper being put inside. That didn't help but the shredder worked again.
After that, the "AUTO" part of the shredder stopped working. When I switched it to AUTO, it would just continuously run the motor. I could put paper inside to shred.
However, it stopped working before the second basket filled up. Again, I put a couple sheets in and it got stuck. I tried to clean it out as best as I could and tried it again but the motor doesn't even run when I turn it on.
I'm getting a refund from Amazon. I have never had a problem with products I've bought here but this is the first.

If you do not have the need for a cross-cut shredder this one is awesome. It simply gets the job done, shredding paper into 1/4-inch thick strips. It's powerful and cuts threw CD's and DVD's with ease. For the price it's a great buy and don't let its size fool you the motor is strong.Digital camera Review: Doesn't perform worth a darn

I've had it for approx 1.5 months. At first it seemed to meet my needs as I am an occassional shredder of garbage mail that comes in with private information on it. After only 1 month it became jammed when I ran with 3 sheets of 8.5 x 11 nothing special paper through it. I cleaned it out the best I could, but can only now shred on the left side. Keep your money and use it towards a better model. I wish I would have.
