Having this product only for a short while, but so far no major problems. Material doesn't seem to be "first class", wasn't expected given the price however. It appears to be a decent shredder, and not too noisy. However, I am returning it, as each shred is 1.5" long x 0.25" wide, which is unacceptable for purposes of shredding private and / or confidential information -- which is why I ordered it in the first place. I tried it this evening and was disappointed to see that my entire social security on one shred, and my address on another. This is pretty much everything I personally need it to be. It shreds several sheets of paper at once, it shreds cards, and it has a fairly large capacity but fits under my desk. My only complaint is that it sometimes stops shredding too abruptly and leaves a little behind, but I have not had any trouble getting to activate as some others have reported.
Overall, I think it performs very well and is a good price. Definitely an item worth owning with rampant identity theft, and I strongly suggest the cross or diamond cut over an older "strips" model.

Very quiet and doesn't jam at all. Like the auto feature, just drop paper in and the machine "does the job". Just the right size for under a computer desk. Easy to empty, just lift off top. Just wish it shredded paper pieces just a little thinner.
