Digital camera reviews of Aurora AS890C 8-Sheet Cross-Cut Paper/Credit Card Shredder with BasketDigital camera Review: Crosscut is the way to go. Summary: 5 Stars
This is my 2nd shredder and 1st crosscut. The crosscut is a far better design because it shreds more finely and the waste paper is much mre compact, taking less space in the trash. The Aurora seems powerful enough, handles credit cards and multiple sheets; no jams to date.
Digital camera Review: Crosscut paper credit card shredder Summary: 5 Stars
Good value for a crosscut paper/credit card shredder. Compact, fits almost anywhere. Shreads up to 8 sheets sheets of paper at once.
Digital camera Review: Crosscut shredder Summary: 5 Stars
We use this shredder nearly every day. We did try the credit card in it once and decided that it was better done with scissors. It is compact and we like it.
Digital camera Review: Decent Shredder Summary: 4 Stars
I had an incredibly large stack to be shredded when I got the shredder. Does a great job with small amounts... I know it says it can handle like up to 8 pages, but I'd not put more than 4 or 5 at a time. Also, I think I overheated mine trying to kill a stack that I was shredding. It stopped for a while and then once it was cool again, it's been working without issues. overall, i've had no major issues, and have shredded at least 5 or 6 garbage bags of paper and a couple cards.
Digital camera Review: Decent Shredder for the Money Summary: 4 Stars
I've had this shredder for over a year now. It works pretty well for the price but does stop working when it gets a lot of work - say more than a half hour straight. It will work again after it cools down for 5 or 10 minutes, not that it really got that hot. Overall it works OK. I'm happy with the quality of the paper shredding. The credit card shredding is fair at best.
