Digital camera reviews of Aurora AS890C 8-Sheet Cross-Cut Paper/Credit Card Shredder with BasketDigital camera Review: Decent for the price Summary: 3 Stars
Mine replaces a shredder that choked on a FedEx envelope, the kind with imbedded fibers. I doubt this one would fare any better, so I haven't tried it. PROS -- Cheap, window showing how full it is, seems to handle heavy stock OK. CONS -- Very noisy, small opening for inserting papers.
Digital camera Review: Decent paper shredder Summary: 5 Stars
I am happy with this paper shredder. I have had it for about a year in my den. As long as I do not overload with more than 6-7 sheets of paper the unit works fine. If i put more than the the unit struggles or does not cut properly. Seems to handle credit card plastic fine. If you shred a lot you may what something more robust, but this work fine for home office use.
Digital camera Review: Descent Product Summary: 4 Stars
This is a descent product, does exactly what it says it does in the description, but has trouble with frequent paper jams.....
Just cut down how many pages you feed into the machine to avoid paper jams.
I am happy, would recommend this shredder especially for the price.
Digital camera Review: Disappointment Summary: 1 Stars
Despite my carefully shredding only 3 pages at a time, after a handful of uses this shredder ceased to work.
Digital camera Review: Disposable shredder Summary: 2 Stars
I purchased this in September 2009. For the first few months it worked fine. BUT It didnt take 8 sheets as stated and needed to rest very frequently. It was not used for business or in a school but just for home personal papers. Now, September 2010, it is garbage and must be thrown out. I thought I was buying one with lasting power BUT I was wrong.
