I just received and setup my third camera to add to my Avaak Vue system. You install the battery, sit the camera next to the Avaak gateway adapter, press the sync button on the adapter and wait a few seconds till the sync light goes out and you are all set. No wires, no Power supply wires. These cameras are small and can be hidden in some very inconspicuous places. They are not night cameras, but they do function well in a 20 x 20 room with a 9 watt power saver lamp. These cameras with a good security system like the AAS wireless system work very well! I have had no problems connecting in to see my cameras from anywhere, at work, on the commuter train, from my daughters condo etc. I viewed the cameras on my son in laws ipad very cool. Some good advice is to check the firmware update with the settings tab on the webpage. Very easy to do. You can also check the battery level of each camera, very cool! Look at the Avaak vue sample pics on the Amazon page, you can judge the quality. Also Avaak has a sample site where you can view the Caifornia Shore with their camera. Its at [...] Enjoy!
