Should be a good tv if you live 15 to 20 miles from the stations but with any more than that you will need some other type of antenna, making this not so portable for me. Wanted a weather emergency tv without needing power and the trouble of extra antennas. I would be okay with the included antenna but don't feel I shoould need others. After reading many great reviews on this TV, I was disappointed to find that I only get one local channel (with a lot of maneuvering of the antennas) and two PBS stations. When I called the Company for help I was told that I must live within 15 miles of a TV station to get better reception - I'm 30 miles out of Washington, DC. This is my second purchase of the Axion 7 inch digital tv. The quality of the reception is absolutely unbelievable. The sound is good and the antenna, which is included with the tv is powerful. I am able to receive the basic channels: ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, PBS, UPN and some additional Spanish speaking stations. I purchased a UHF/VHF combination antenna in hopes of gaining more access to stations. However, I got more access with the antenna that was included with the tv. nice little unit. picks up the local nbc feed when my other tv's with amplified antennas won't.everything is as advertised. chose this over the competition and im glad i did. price dropped 5 bucks after i recieved tv, but am stil happy. external antenna beats the others. this town has crazy local channel availability, as feeds are relayed from other cities with apparently low signal powerDigital camera Review: Save your money!

Reception is poor, however when you do get a station clearly, it is a very sharp good picture. So much for the good stuff,
it has a useless battery, and after having it for 9 months the tuner went bad and will not stay on a specific station. It
just keeps jumping around. Tried to reset it and nothing worked. You have to deal with Axion customer service, which is
almost useless.
