This is exactly what we needed: a temporary bathtub/shower safety bar for which we did not need to drill into the wall. When we first got it, we had a little trouble with it coming loose; but we found that when we pushed it down hard onto the surface of the shower and then flipped the suction locks, it adhered perfectly. It hasn't come loose since! My 81-yr-old father found it very helpful while he was visiting us this past Christmas, and I was happy not to have to drill holes into the shower surround for it! This is the second shower safety grip I have purchased. One was for a stroke patient, the other for an elderly man. The grip increases safely and is portable.It makes a nice, inexpensive gift for those who have everything.
