Digital camera reviews of BOSE (R) In-Ear Stereo HeadphonesDigital camera Review: 5 Stars for BOSE Summary: 5 Stars
Bose in-ear headphones ROCK! These are by far the best headphones on the market in this price-range. They have great bass sound and are very comfortable. I have not had any problems with them falling out like some of the other reviews.
I compared them to the Shure E2C and there is no comparison. The Shure pair does not even come close in bass or comfort. They kept falling out and they hurt my ears after long periods of time. My Bose earphones feel great no matter how long I use them and I never have to adjust them in my ears.
BUY THIS ITEM! Highly recommended and you will not regret this purchase!
Digital camera Review: A MUST BUY FOR MUSIC LOVERS! Summary: 5 Stars
Strengths: Excellent BOSE quality sound, Extreme BASS response, Does not distort at high levels, Price!
Weaknesses: Does not offer Noise Cancelling, A bit bulky looking compared to most in-ear competitors
I was reading many reviews on the Bose in-ear headphones when they first came out. I am a die-hard Shure fan and at the time...had Shure e3c's. The Shure's are excellent quality as well, but lacks the sound quality in bass response. Also, as the volume increases there are obvious signs of distortion. I purchased the Bose in-ear from my local Bose store and was blown away at the demo, so I bought them. I was shocked at how well the Bose can respond to such highs and lows without distorting the sound. When the volume is increased, there is barely any sound coming from them on the outside if a friend is next to you. Unlike many others, these don't give surrounding people an idea of what you are listening to, which is perfect in libraries, etc. After comparing the Shure's to the Bose, I noticed a difference in size which isn't a big deal to me, but they are definitely larger. I spent $99.95 on the Bose which is half the price of the Shure e3c priced at $199.95. If you're looking for great HIGH quality sound for different genres of music...these Bose in-ear Headphones are definitely worth the price. After all, it lured me away from Shure which cannot top the sound of Bose.
Digital camera Review: A mediocre product with an expensive brand name Summary: 2 Stars
Anything Bose has to be great right? Wrong.
We've all been waiting for years for Bose to come out with a set of In-Ear Headphones that would steal the market. The first time I saw them, I was so excited, I figured these things would be worth ANY price. After all, it's Bose! You can't go wrong with Bose right? I even read the reviews on Amazon.com and disregarded any/all warnings that this product wasn't actually all it was made out to be. I figured anybody who didn't like Bose was being ridiculous. ...and now that I own these headphones, I can say in all honesty that I deeply regret paying this much money for such a lousy excuse for a set of headphones.
If these headphones came for free with your iPod, that would be a good deal. Even if they sold for $20, that might even be a reasonable investment. But for a whopping $100?? You've got to be kidding me! Have a listen and you'll understand immediately what I mean when I say they are NOT worth such a ludicrous price.
First off, the bass is so overpowering, you won't be able to hear half of the music you're listeing too. I don't even enjoy listing to my iPod with these things anymore because the sound quality has been cut in half. And yea, I've tried every EQ setting there is and it still doesn't even come close to saving these headphones.
Second, these are absolutely impossible to exercise with. I was always under the impression that people used In-Ear Headphones BECAUSE they could use them while they ran, worked out, or even walked. But these things will fall out of your ear if you so much as turn your head!
Some people are bass-a-holics, and I understand that. If you just want to listen to Hip Hop, then these are probably for you. But if you want to hear any kind of quality music in it's full capacity, then I wouldn't even give these a second thought. In my humble opinion, the earphones that the iPod comes stocked with sound much better than these do. I would choose the iPod earphones over Bose any day of the week. At least they stay in your ear and sound halfway decent.
Bose will probably keep pushing this product, charging this price, and with any luck, keep selling a lot them. Why? Because they are capitalizing on a widely accepted brand name which has been perfected through years of excellent audio products. Why they chose to go to market with such an inferior, pathetic excuse for a set of earphones is a mystery to me, but I can only imagine it will hurt their company's reputation in the future.
Do yourself a favor, save your money and get something much better.
Digital camera Review: A slice of heaven Summary: 5 Stars
These are really great ear buds. Included with the buds are different size tips that fit in your ear (3 sizes), if you loose your tips you can order a new set on line for under $10.00. Comfortable, easy to use, the sound is great. The bass notes and the highs will not dissapoint you. After all the were made by Dr. Bose. 1. plus, when you go for a jog or work out at the gym, they stay in your ear. Nothing is worse than lifting weights and the ear buds fall out. The cord seems to be longer than others I have used. The cost is a little more, but the quality is worth it.
Digital camera Review: Absolutely Love it Summary: 5 Stars
Got the phones yesterday and in the first few hours of using, I absolutely love these. I bought these to use with my ipod. The phones are much better then the standard apple ipod phones. Great sound quality.
It came with 3 ear gel packs so that I can use the one that fits me.
No complains.
