Digital camera Review: CD player broke after 3 months. Shame on Emerson.

Our daughter used this player frequently in the 3 months she had it. She loved that it was pink, she loved the flashing lights when you pressed the jewel button, she loved her princess music over and over and over again. But then it suddenly stopped recognizing the CD. It wouldn't spin or anything, the display just said "no" (as in no CD inserted). At first taking the CD out and reinserting did the trick but very quickly even that didn't work. The display now shows odd, nonsensical characters and the player is completely nonfunctional. The radio still works but does a 4 year old really want to listen to the radio? No! She wants to listen to her princess music. Our daughter was very gentle with this product as I don't allow them to misuse any of their toys. This is just another poorly foreign- made "disposable" electronic item. I feel bad for my girl because it is past warranty and we no longer have the receipt or box and buying another $40 radio after 3 months is preposterous. Shame on Emerson. We really like this little boom box, Santa brought it to our oldest daughter! The only thing is, I wish it had a latch to close it. It opens and shuts REALLY easily and so my 2 year old constantly opens it and changes cd's.Digital camera Review: Nice design, but failed after less than a year

Our daughter received this as a gift, and we played her bedtime CD's every night for 11 months. One day, the CD player gave up and stopped working. It's too bad.. because we had no complaints otherwise. It's a nice product if it would have just kept running. The warranty is 90 days, so we're out of luck.Digital camera Review: Barbie Bloombox

This is an awful CD player. We got the first one for our four year old and put it on top of the bookcase in her room (no one touches it but Mom and Dad). The CD player quit working after three days. The second one lasted four months, but now the CD player will not power up. I expected much better. And of course, because it's been four months, we can't return it. THIS SEEMS TO WORK REALLY WELL, SO FAR. IT IS FOR MY 2 1/2 YEAR OLD GRAND DAUGHTER. SHE IS TO YOUNG TO USE IT BY HERSELF BUT LOVES TO LISTEN TO HER CD'S AND DANCE TO THE MUSIC.
