I have a Reverse Osmosis drinking water filter system under my kitchen sink with a pressure booster motor. The booster motor developed a small leak and went unnoticed for a long time. The standing water caused a lot of damage. I repaired the motor leak and installed these water alarm sensors. My repair failed two weeks later, and the water alarm signaled the problem saving me another messy cleanup. I have since replaced the motor with a new one and have also placed water sensors under my other sinks, toilets, water heater, and clothes washer.Digital camera Review: Outstanding product! I bought these after having 2 separate water incidents at my home. This prompted me to try to research a way to prevent further damage. These detectors are great because they are battery powered and small enough to easily slip under the refrigerator or behind the washing machine. The 5-pack is nice as I have many locations to put it (I put one in each water heater).
I highly recommend these for any homeowner.

Recommended. One advantage of Water Warning is it can be placed flat, or on edge--the latter is great for sliding behind appliances, between bookcases, etc., where other leak detectors may not fit. Installing batteries is easier than some other models out there and the fact Water Warning comes in a pkg of 5 makes sense, because most people will want more than one in their home. It's a good idea to use high quality alkaline batteries rather than the batteries which come with the package.Digital camera Review: WOW!!! 1 day after installing it, it sounded an alarm.

1 day after receiving the water leak sensor, it sounded an alarm from under the sink. I said no way there is water there, I went and checked it, lo and behold, there was water splashing from the sink when washing dishes. These things work. We put in new hardwood floors and this small investment could we end up saving or large investment.
