I LOVE this bag! First of all, there just aren't that many choices for the 17-inch laptop- and that upsets me! But this one is worth every penny of the $49.99 price Belkin charges. There are ample pockets for pens, pencils, rulers, iPods, cell phones, and little 'whatnots.' The inside pocket for the laptop is well padded and velvety in order to protect the surfaces. The super-long shoulder strap was long enough so that I could wear the bag across my big old belly comfortably! Also included is a separate, removable pouch to hold power adapters and cables. Both bags
are 100-percent durable polyester fabric that is weatherproof and both
are backed by Belkin's Lifetime Warranty. The (Jet/Cabernet) is almost
as stylish as my own (Chocolate/Tourmaline)...almost.

Digital camera Review: Fine, rugged design, but flawed

I'll point out first that I suffer no fear for my laptop's safety when it's inside this bag. It fits snugly in its thick cocoon of padding. The bag looks sharp, and I'm mostly pleased.
My major gripe is that the strap is way too long. This thing hangs down almost to my knees at its shortest adjustment. Also, I was surprised that the color that appears to be a sky blue in the picture (what they're calling "tourmaline") edges more closely to aqua in reality. You've been warned.

I bought this Belkin 17-inch messenger bag for my Toshiba Satellite with 17" screen. The laptop fits in this bag perfectly. It is snug enough to hold it still and I haven't had any problems inserting it or taking it out. The bag has a generous amount of foam to cushion my laptop and extra space for folders, papers and some extras. It has an extra little bag with it but if, like me, you want to carry a mouse with you, I suggest you buy the matching mouse trap bag. The strap is very wide and comfortable and I like the chocolate color with the light blue accents. My Mom had this bag when she came for a visit and I was online ordering my own within 30 minutes of her arrival. I have searched high and low for a laptop messenger bag that was not only roomy but that would protect my laptop well. I had no luck until this bag. It has several slots, compartments, pockets and little hiding places which gives you plenty of room for your laptop and all its accessories. Besides having all the room to work with, the other part that really sold me on it was the actually laptop pocket. It is lined with such a great material so when you are sliding it in and out you are sure to never get a scratch. Also included with this bag is a pouch that you can use for anything you like: pens, pencils, memory cards, mouse, power cord, etc.... I use mine for my power cord so that way it is in a safe spot without it getting all tangled and knotted up.
This product is a must have for the student, business person or anyone that owns a laptop for that matter. You will not be disappointed!
