This CAT5E ethernet cable is exactly as the manufacturer describes. We've bought several of these over the last few years and the work flawlessly. You simply can't get a better product for this price. 50-feet goes a long way and if you don't think you need that much, it's always better to have more than not enough. Wow, I bought this product on amazon.com for only $6.18!!!
It really is a 50 foot cable, which extends from my room, down the hallway, to another room. I use it with my XBOX 360 to connect to my internet router. I plug it directly into both, and it works well, with no delay.
I would recommend getting this cable rather than a wireless router simply because of the price and speed. Your connection will be faster without wireless delay and the cord should be long enough for you. You will also save around $80.
The cord is thick and has been jammed in the door many times, but shows no signs of wear/tear.
The only negative quality is that it came rolled up and still retains its curly characteristics, rather than being a straight cord down my hallway.
Overall, Great quality, Outstanding Price.

Works fine. Run it out of my modem, straight into my computer on the other end of the room so I don't have to use wireless.
Picture is gray, description says black, but I think mine is blue. Fine by me.
