Digital camera Review: Armband good only for jogging
Summary: 2 Stars
This armband gives a very snug fit for my iPod, meaning it is very form-fitting to the iPod and very snug on my bicep. No wiggling here. The case is lightweight and water-resistant and has a place to keep your key, VERY handy for jogging.
However, the strap's velcro was low quality and started peeling, making tightening it increasingly difficult. Furthermore, the plastic cover was too thick for my clickwheel to function. I ended up debating and the only way I could get the wheel to work was to cut a circle in the plastic (thus negating the benefit of water resistance). I ultimately also cut a slit in the bottom to access the data cable slot.
The armband is permanently attached to the iPod holder, too, so once it's off your arm you either have a very large and awkwardly-shaped item to carry around or you have to wrestle the iPod out of the very snug neoprene holder.
I recommend it only for use when jogging.
