Digital camera Review: Be careful with multifunction printers

I bought this device as a server for my Epson CX6400 printer. Installed easily and worked seamlessly for about 3 weeks. Then the Epson died completely(It stopped printing color a few months ago).
I replaced the Epson with a Canon multifunction printer and it doesn't work with the print server. Belkin tech support (eventually) told me that the F1UP0001 is not compatible with multifunction printers and I should replace it with the F1UP0002 model. When I couldn't find this model on the Belkin web site, I googled it and it popped on several .UK vendor sites but nothing in the US. Next I called Belkin Customer service to find out where to buy this model. The rep knew nothing about the F1UP0002 and said that Belkin(US) and Belkin(UK) have different products. He also told me that Belkin(US) has stopped making print servers altogether. That could explain why they are out of stock on the web site.
In the end I am kicking myself for not buying a simple printer. In which case this would have been a more glowing review.

I bought this printserver together with a Belkin wireless router. I have two printers, a Cannon i900D and a brand new HP Deskjet 5740. The Cannon i900D works through the printserver. However, after about 10 hours of frustration, including 5 telephone calls with Belkin Tech Support, I was finally told (by a level 3 technician, whatever that means) "Well, I guess this printer just isn't compatible"!! The problem is, Belkin has NO IDEA what printers are compatible. Their website contains two lists - compatible printers and incompatible printers. Both are out of date. I can't find a single inkjet listed on either list that is still commercially available. Belkin tech support has no updated information on compatible models.
So does the product work? Maybe, if your printer is compatable. Problem is, noone knows if it is until after you buy the product and spend hours trying to set it up. Which, as I'm sure everyone knows, is immensely frustrating.

First I am not one to write many reviews but I must comment on this product.
My Linksys print server went out on me so I began shopping for a new wireless print server. I already have a Belkin router so I chose this product thinking the installation would be easy and it was. My only problem I have had with both of the print servers is I have to connect to the host PC via the ethernet cable but the 3 other PCs in the house all find the printer with the installation software wirelessly. So far I am very pleased with the product.
