Digital camera Review: Belkin F6C550-AVR - A real disappointment
Summary: 2 Stars

This is my third Belkin UPS, and my last. They have changed the software to something that runs in a DOS like screen that for some reason makes the processor on the computer run all the time. It has slowed my PC down, significantly extended computer start up times and no longer has the easy to read dials in the old Bull Dog software. Now all the info is in a spreadsheet. Tech support says this software is now used on all Belkin UPS products.

Digital camera Review: Belkin Serves Its Purpose
Summary: 4 Stars

The Belkin is very compact (it fits on my desk behind the thin screen monitor). Has four protected outlets and 2 regular ones. I have every outlet filled and our electric has gone out a few times including quick "hits" that can cause surges. My computer equipment remains in good condition and up and running. The Belkin beeps when the power is out to let me know it is working and I can manually stop this if I like. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Digital camera Review: Belkin is the worst UPS for the money
Summary: 1 Stars

Don't be fooled by Belkin's bells and whistles. I deal with a lot of computer equipment that needs surge and battery backup and Belkin is by far the worst. Their products are cheaply made and generally fail after a couple of years of use. On one, I couldn't adjust the Voltage Sensitivity although Belkin Support insisted I could. That unit worked on and off. Before that one gave me problems, I bought a second one which after a couple of years would just shut down on power loss, giving no clue of why. Its the transfer circuit which no doubt is cheaply made. I've taken these units apart and they are crap. They look pretty on the outside and the software brags of all these features but they are so cheaply made as to be completely worthless after a year or so. Buy Tripp Lite, a little more money but a much better investment.

Digital camera Review: BullDog Problem
Summary: 4 Stars

So far the product is great except the accopany software Bulldog. If your OS is Windows XP, go to this website to download the new drive:
[...]
Otherwise, the Bulldog does not work on my XP Pro.
After I install the new drive, everything just works find.
